It is indeed true we have not posted much since our last post in December. But bear with us for a second here, January is for us one of the busiest times of the year. With the arrival of Pitti and Milan Fashion Week the team at YG gets incredibly busy with all the meetings and shows we must attend.
Windbreakers
These came in all shapes and sizes, varying from the most absurd streetwear dudes to the most classic and elegant gentlemen at Pitti. Windbreakers are great pieces for those of you that live in not so cold places, because they keep you warm and look great at the same time. Windbreakers in plain dark colours(Brown, navy or olive) are what we suggest to you. They are easy to be worn and you won’t have to break the bank to buy one.
Brands famous during 80s and 90s
Brands like the Italian Diadora and the American Nautica and Champions are making a comeback. Expect to see a lot about these brands in the upcoming future. Here’s a picture of a special collaboration Barney’s New York did with Diadora.
Bespoke
Last but not least another trend we noticed is that high-end bespoke suits still haven’t left the scene (and probably never will). The key here is attention to detail and the small changes in your clothes that make the difference only to those who have a higher level of understanding regarding the topic. Sometimes this regards buttons, stitching, fine fabrics etc. Put extra effort into getting the fit just right. It is no use having the finest of all fabrics if your suit does not properly fit you. And yes, risvoltini (cuffs) are still trendy.
