Some time ago we posted about Stewart’s piumino and how elegant it was (Check it out here). Once again, we partnered up in order to show our readers what we think makes for the best outfit.
Our latest editorial features Stewart’s new shearling, which has roots in the original bomber jacket but with a little extra quality and refinement that makes it just above anything we’ve seen.
Bomber jackets first showed up in WWI and later on in WWII and became a symbol of style and manliness after that. Its bearers were supposed to be protected from the cold cockpits of planes which reached rather cold temperatures. Nowadays, synthetic fabrics make for better heat absorbing characteristics, but the classic natural leather jacket lined with fur still resits, becoming a classic piece that is necessary in any man’s wardrobe.
In the photos you can see that a refined cashmere turtleneck with Stewart’s jacket sends out an image of youth (for those of you that are too old) and mature elegance (for those of you that are too young). This mix shows us just how timeless these two pieces can be.
